The food was out of this world!!!!!!!!! The service was excellent and atmosphere was perfect! I'm so glad I found this amazing place in downtown Bangor and can't wait to come back to the area just to go to the fiddlehead restaurant!!!!

The food was fresh, delicious and presented with care. The cocktails were on point and had a touch of local flare... reminded me of the Dead Rabbit in NYC. But above all, the dining experience was excellent with friendly, knowledgeable staff that makes you feel like you are starting a new and very long friendship. If you are in Bangor... you must experiences this wonderful dinning experience.
Great place to go if you are wanting a superb dinner. Something special and above and beyond the normal fare. Locally sourced proteins and they maintain their own vegetable gardens for their produce. All organic and the chicken is free range. Sustainable practices with a pizzazz you won't find anywhere else in Maine. Make your reservations early and expect the unexpected from the staff of this amazing eatery.
Perfect for foodies - most of the menu items fresh from the garden produce. Service was very warm and friendly, and the food was incredible. We were staying overnight in Bangor, ME on our way home from vacation, and the food was so wonderful, we seriously considered staying a second night just to eat there again. From the cornbread with molasses at the beginning of the meal to the desserts at the end, everything was done to perfection. Can't say enough great things about this place!
