Great food! They are still experiencing some new restaurant issues but nothing related to the food. I'm looking forward to eating here often. It's nice to have another "foodie" option in Monroe.

First timers. We had the salmon bruschetta appetizer, the shrimp and polenta and the filet. The shrimp were not overcooked and you could almost cut the filet with a fork. Everything was delicious and Drakka was super sweet and attentive. About to try the crème brûlèe even though we are stuffed! Great service and great food! This town needs this place desperately. Apparently no liquor license yet, but that was a non-issue for us.
Very good! I tried the Slider Trio and my friend had the pork brisket po-boy. Both we delicious! The place looks great. Come give it a try!!
Everyone needs to check this place out! The gulf shrimp and polenta was amazing!

As a person who has lived in several cities and worked in the industry for more years than I care to mention, I give Chris props for an amazing experience! My beautiful Carmalita and her son Valen enjoyed every last bite with me this evening, and we see nothing but good things on the the horizon for the Fat Pelican! Duroc Pork, Shrimp and Polenta....all fantastic. Check it out folks.

Great dining experience! I had the burger which was not your average burger... "Gourmet" describes it well. My guest had the fish of the day which she raved about! Very fresh, with tons of flavor and very good portions for a reasonable price! Can't wait to try the salmon next time. Great job Chris!
