Have stayed at the Essex Farmhouse twice now; once during the summer and once in February. Both were equally amazing. The host provided a list of recommendations for local interests and activities, from beach, wineries and patios in the summer months to breweries, restaurants and axe throwing for winter. This farmhouse is beautiful. It's beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you'd need for a vacation away. It offers activities for all ages and its proximity to Lake Erie is very advantageous. The local wineries offer delicious food and great wine-tasting. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home.
The moment you enter the Essex Farmhouse you are welcomed to a cozy and inviting place. It offers a variety of amenities that make you feel right at home. We enjoyed exploring the character and activities that the barn and other buildings offered on the Farmhouse property. Stayed at the beautiful Essex Farmhouse in March 2022. We had an amazing time both at the house and in the area. The farmhouse is equipped with everything you would need for a great holiday. It has a warm decor and enough fun and games that you would not have to leave the property to have a great time! From a fun fire pit, to a large, clean hot tub, we had a great weekend. I stayed at the Farmhouse for Thanksgiving and our stay was A+. The owners have put so much thought into the place, it was immaculate. There are many wineries and beaches nearby meaning it is the perfect Ontario getaway. We will be back!
