Once you’re inside your unit you’re probably fine but chaos is always lurking outside your door. The Dylan is staffed remotely, with no on-site staff. Leading to no accountability for anything that goes on in the building. They claim to pay for security from 6pm-6am but they leave, sleep in their car, or don’t show up. The Dylan is at the corner of two main roads both with bus stops. Homeless get off the bus, vandalize the building, and steal packages daily. I am currently trying to move to The Dylan. Im trying to tour the building, like I did more than 100x in my life. I move every year, been to 35 States, many different cities and Apartments. I HAVE NEVER SEEN one building in my entire life that you cant have a tour with a leasing-office agent. Its only self-guided tours and you cant see the amenities. Only the apartment. Im not joking. David Villegas deserves special recognition. Team members like him are a big reason residents feel comfortable staying in the building long-term. He is consistently professional and responsive. Every time I submit a maintenance request, David follows up, explains what he’s doing, and makes sure the issue is fully resolved, not just patched up. Honestly, after living here for about eight months, I am pretty split on the building. The only saving Grace here is the maintenance team, including Elena and David. They are always so quick to resolve issues within the building and within the unit. David specifically has gone above and beyond to ensure problems are solved that might even fall out of typical asks (aka I dropped my keys down the elevator shaft).
