I was so frustrated before I found these guys that I went out and bought a book by Joseph Jenkins called "The Slate Roof Bible" and was considering doing my own work. No one in town seemed to follow standard slate practices until I found Durable Slate.

True slaters! – I'm originally from Boston, and there's a number of true slaters there. I assumed it'd be the same here, because New Orleans is such an old city with fantastic homes with slate roofs, but I seemed like it was hopeless finding a real slater in town. Then I called Durable Slate. They are the real McCoy. They're the only ones I'll let on my slate roof.

I'm glad I hired them – Durable Slate fixed my leaky slate roof and also took out all those ugly "clips". I'm so glad I hired them. My roof looks so much better.

Couldn't be happier I did lots of research before I replaced my slate roof, and I'll tell you it was well worth it. Durable Slate did a fantastic job on my house. It looks great, and it's going to last!! I've since referred them to several of my friends who weren't so fortunate to call them before doing their slate roof. I would certainly recommend using them.
