Loved it! Great breakfasts
One of the few places to eat. Service was good. Food was mediocre but the worst was how dirty the place was. Such a shame!!!!! Just a one time shot!!!!

Munising is my second home. My dad was born there. We went to Munising over the fourth of July. They wouldn't let us make a reservation for a family of 16. We tried going up there to eat they said it would be a half hour. We said that they can split us up. They didn't want to do that. I miss the old restaurants that we went to when I was a kid with my grandma.
Some of the staff was either new or inexperienced Food ok but very exspensive. The Dog Patch has a good reputation but it appears to have slipped.
Lousy food. We were in Munising overnight on a family road trip. We got up in the morning and opted for the Dogpatch for breakfast as it was suggested, although not enthusiastically by someone at one of the local hotels. All they were serving that Sunday morning was the breakfast buffet so our options were obviously limited. Everything on the buffet was grease soaked...even the pancakes. It was awful. Do not order the pizza. Just go buy a frozen pizza at the grocery store and cook it yourself. It will be cooked all the way at least. Cannot believe I just paid $12.95 for a frozen pizza still on the cardboard! Look at the salad bar before ordering, 21 items include 6 dressings. Not worth anywhere near $9.95.
