Whenever in Munising, we make sure to come here. The food is good, the atmosphere is friendly and we have been coming here for years and we have recommended it to everyone of our family members who visit Munising during their trip to the U.P.
Phenomenal service! Anna was wonderful, prompt and seems to really enjoy her job! Reasonable prices! Would definitely make the trek from Cheboygan just for their steak sandwich! Thank you Anna for redeeming our faith in local service!!!!
For the life of me, I cannot comprehend why this restaurant was recommended to us by a local. We arrived for breakfast shortly before 11:30 a.m. only to be informed it was no longer an option, therefore we had to order from the lunch/dinner menu. I ordered the Pappy Yokum's that was described as "carefully prepared and seasoned choice roast beef" served "heftily" on a warm toasty bun for $9.79 with creamy horseradish. Really good comfort food. Excellent salad bar and mashed potatoes & gravy! And the server we had was terrific.
I mean, it's just overpriced. Menu was deceiving. "Generous helping of plump shrimp because we love you" but comes with 7 pre breaded, frozen shrimp, sub par mashed and gravy and an over hyped salad bar for 20 bucks?! I hate to leave this review but I was recommended to come here and I'm really sorry that I did. Service was ok. beer list was good, it has a theme and plenty of potential but isn't what I expect of a 50 yr old business. I'd be willing to give it a second try in a Year.
RecommendedAbsolutely perfect breakfast spot! They serve breakfast, buffet style and everything is fresh to the last bite!! Will be a regular stop on these UP trips!
