The Shrimp & Grits are phenomenal. It's a great portion--lots of shrimp--and there is a great spice to it! I'll definitely be coming back. Like, every week. AND the King Cake... it's the best King Cake I've found outside of New Orleans. (And even better than some of those.) I can't wait to try everything else! So glad you guys are in the neighborhood!
I went to the restaurant for the first time today. I had the shrimp & grits, pulled pork sandwich, grilled cheese and the tomato soup. Each was EXCELLENT. The shrimp & grits are likely the very best in Richmond, creamy buttery and the shrimp were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I love the spicyness of the tomato soup. Pulled Pork Po-Boy was off the charts! Great addition to the neighborhood. Can't wait to try everything else.
