I had actually never heard of the place, and someone recommended it. I went in with the hard job of ordering lunch for 2 other people who had never seen the menu before either. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I decided to order the pulled pork po' boys for everyone. They were AMAZING! Im not normally a pulled pork fan (crazy I know) but these sandwiches were just unbelievably delicious. You guys will definitely be seeing me again, thank you so much!
We had the po boy sandwich, tomato soup, and loaded grits. I was never a fan of collards until now. The bacon was just as amazing and the dalmatian cookies were a perfect meal finisher! Will definitely come back again soon.
I was so curious about the food that I got 2 items. I actually did my food a disservice because it was so good I shouldn't have distracted my palate shuffling between the two.
My first inclination is to stay away from any restaurant that has the word "dog" in the name, but I tried your pork poboy last night and it was maybe the best I've ever had. The meat was fresh, bread was delicious. I couldn't put it down. Welcome to the neighborhood!
