The food is high quality and you can tell is made with love :) I will be coming back to this place every weekend while I am in Virginia. Great customer service too.
I just ate the incredible Short Rib Po'boy it was amazing such great flavors. That flower garden bun is like heaven in your mouth the short Rib was juicy the daikon and red cabbage slaw was so tastey..and did I mention the Short ribs are braised but rubbed with Kimchi paste!#BadAzzSammy#Dog&PigShow#RocksRVA
I tried the shrimp and grits i really didn't like them but it was my first time trying shrimp and grits maybe i just don't like shrimp and grits lol but the dessert i tried was yummy i can't remember what it was my friend ordered it but the place was nice the guy who took my order was very friendly like i would try it again but just not the shrimp and grits
Despite all the amazing choices Richmond has to offer, the Dog and Pig Show stands above the rest. Had one of the best sandwiches of my life from here this evening: their chinese sausage on rye. Sweet, umami, sour, and salty; with creaminess and crunch. Perfection! The pulled pork po' boy was spicy and delicious, and the meal was finished with a decadently luscious milk and cookie bar.
The food is obscenely good. Even though there was no where to sit, we didn't care. We ate, hovering, like this food would fuel us for a walk into eternity. You have to eat here. Go now.
Very impressed. Everything about this place rocks. It's an intimate hipster cafe, wth a vertical garden in the main area. Only a couple seats, which is a bit of a draw back since they sell some heavy food.
