I have lived here. The place is Quiet, peaceful and walkable. Plenty of parking space available and the apartments are nice. A bit costly ($2400+/month). The garage is available as first come first serve basis and costs additional $150/ month. The township management is nice but not that responsive. The garbage disposal will not be an issue unless you live in building 6 which is right next to the garbage disposal area. I recently applied to move into the apartment. My application was successful, and was immediately charged the $199 admin fee that is due upon move-in. Due to a recent surgery, I inquired about a later availability. Everything thus far was done by phone/online. When I viewed the apartment in person, it did not live up to the pictures. It looks like they took the pictures when the complex was first built, because it is not new in person. In the stairwell, there was lots of dog poop, dirt, and cobwebs. Joshua was awesome , making us feel very welcome and being flexible in showing us an apartment quickly even though we did not have an appointment. He understood our need , being from out of town , and provided a lot of valuable information who triggered us working on the application before even leaving the Docks. Thank you ! My husband and I lived at the Docks for 3 years and probably would not have left if we hadn't bought a house. Living by the river provides beautiful scenery and ample opportunities to hike and explore nature, while still enjoying the conveniences of fox chapel and Aspinwall and quick access to 28. Amenities at the Docks were great, gym is small but has everything that you need and is rarely crowded.
