Good beer but grossly overpriced and bartender snobby despite not being very knowledgeable about beer being served; food fair but also overpriced. Not a terrible experience but will not be going back.
I love this place but often the music selection is far from what I would expect. A nice place with expensive beer shouldn't force people to hear 45 minutes straight of insanely loud Rihanna. Save the club music for another place. People are trying to relax and talk.

Great bar, food and atmosphere. Had wonderful conversations with staff and patrons. Got excellent recommendations for things to see and do in the area. (Seriously, the Montague Book Mill was out of this world). Can't wait to go back to the Dirty Truth.
Maybe the Best bar in Noho. Cozy. Cold beer. Yummy Mediterranean plate.
This place is great and a MUST go EVERY time we are in NOHO. They always have a fine selection of draft beer. In response to previous reviews on the staff: The staff is always great and kind to us (we are out of state customers and they do require multiple ID's, debit and credit cards are fine), so if they aren't great to you, you may want to consider evaluating your own behavior. Perhaps you're getting what you give? The Dirty Truth is a favorite of mine!
