When DBT was recommended for our child because the current therapist felt a higher level of care was needed, this was not the facility recommended to us. Actually, it was Novi as they had been around for a long time. They had a waiting list though. We found this facility through a friend that had considered it for their own child, so we contacted them. I've been seeing Lisa for several years. Lisa is the best therapist that I've ever had. She is incredibly dedicated to the DBT Center, it's programs, and its patients. No other therapist was able to help me the way that The DBT Center has. Groups are productive, insightful, and provide a great sense of community. After coming here, I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Further, when I inquired via email if therapy would be covered by my insurance, the owner requested my personal information and copies of my insurance card via my personal email, which is unsecured. This is not goo... read more
