We love nature and history , this was such a great place to visit and we will return .
I grew up going here with my parents and learned to love nature and being respectful of all living creatures. I have amazing memories of time spent here with my parents and my children. I can't wait to bring grandkids here someday and carry on the tradition. I appreciate each and every worker, volunteer and donor that help make Dawes what it is.
Its beautiful there! A great place to walk and enjoy a day of taking in nature. So many different plants and trees.

This is a wonderful arboretum. Lovely grounds, and well maintained walking trails.
I like to go to Dawes Arboretum when I need some quiet time and want to get back to nature. I love to take photos and I try to get to Dawes a few times in the fall so I can take photos of the progression of the changing leaves. It truly is beautiful! Hope to do some more investigating the next time I go there.
