I made the mistake of hiring Davey tree (San Diego location) for trimming a pine tree that was overhanging on my property. I have been a customer of Davy Tree for many years. Recently they changed their service personnel. They no longer care for your lawn. Instead they simply get the job done as quickly as possible. Recently they over applied grub kill and my lawn is now dead. My lawn has gone from one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood to the worst lawn in the neighborhood. We have been provided no reason or solution. I believe the company has turn from caring for the customer to caring for the stock holders.

I had a large birch bark tree removed from our front yard. I contacted Eric F***** and I was very pleased with the feedback. The pricing was much better than other companies I had contacted in Columbus Ohio. He sent me the insurance forms via email without me having to request them. I have run into that issue with other companies and was pleasantly surprised. This company working as a contractor for DTE Energy entered my property and were suppose to cut trees from the electrical lines. I have two pine trees that I have had for ever 40 years and every year they get cut but this year with this service they damaged my pine trees without using a bucket to do the cutting. They were climbing the trees from the bottoms and damaging the trees and cutting into them without any regard for the damage of the trees they were cutting. Davey in Wixom damaged my grass as well as my neighbors. They would not remedy the damage and were rude when they finally responded to my concerns. I will never do business with them again.

The Davey’s branch on Lemay in St Louis is the epitome of great customer service. I called last Wednesday to get a quote on pruning a large out of control ash tree. Greg, one of their arborists, stopped by Friday to evaluate and recommend what to do with our tree. He set up a crew for the following day , Saturday. They arrived by 9:00am, made their recommendations and LISTENED to what I had to say as well. The entire experience was a pleasure to do business with Davey. After spending minimally 1000.00 per year on maintaining our front yard oak tree, ensuring nothing is touching any wires, TECO contracts Davey's to come through the neighborhood hacking all trees with abandon. Unbelievable doesn't begin to describe the mess this group created-broken fence, crushed landscape, cracked pavers, limbs, leaves and sawdust EVERYWHERE! THEY COULDN'T CARE LESS!

I am a Customer of Davey Tree, I have had work done on my Property and I am completely Satisfied. The team that preformed work where very professional and they did a clean up after each visit. I had a tree badly damaged by Squirrels a section of tree was in danger of breaking and would have done damage to my home if left to natures high winds. I will recommend Davey Tree to Friends.
