The staff was very friendly the rooms are newly remodeled nice and clean with a great view of the strip. The bed was very comfortable also. Security was great for the entrance to the rooms. I won $200 in their casino I didn't spend much time in their casino because of the go go girls it was a little uncomfortable but it was decent its mostly an adult orientated Hotel and Casino its a great deal if you want to stay on Fremont Street you get a lot for your money I would definitely recommend it for a couple just FYI no pets all... read more

At the end of November 2013, I entered a contest to go see the season 6 finale of Sons of Anarchy, where we would get to meet 2 of the cast members. I didn't win, which is okay, but I received an email the day before the event saying that they were doing a second showing and the cast probably won't be there. But they also said that if there were any winner no shows, I may be able to get a spot. I arrived 6 hours prior to the event starting because I was sure a lot of people received the email and would want to get that chanc... read more

Great Customer Service – Chose downtown Fremont Experience for New Years vacation with friends. Bands were crazy loud until 2:00 a.m., but we knew that when we made reservations at Fitzgeralds. We were very happy with our stay there and the only thing we found lacking were power outlets and coffee pots in the rooms, likely because it is an older hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful, with our MANY requests from housekeeping, to the desk clerks and the dealers, who were not so rigid and would joke with us while gamblin... read more

DO NOT STAY HERE – When I read the reviews of the Fitz, it sounded like those complaining were just grumpy. But, the place is FILTHY and DISGUSTING. I like downtown, especially compared to the crowds and noise of the strip. The Fremont Experience was a lot of fun. But, the Fitzgerald should be torn down and replaced. The room was filthy. The toilet ran constantly and backed up. The cover didn't even fit on the tank. The sink made horrific noises whenever you used it and also backed up. The bathtub, floor, and sink were horri... read more

Fitzgerald cutomer service advice...call the bellagio – They didn't have the type of room we reserved available when we checked in...so were stuck sleeping in separate beds like my grandparents. The room we did get was old, dirty, and the toilet didn't work. They fixed the toilet just to have it leak again 3 hours later. Susans advice at customer service was to just call the bellagio next time (we did). Don't stay here unless you like crappy rooms and long waits for elevators. When you do finally get on their overloaded....t... read more

Great Gaming at The Fitz – We always make our way to the Fitz to play blackjack when in Vegas. The atmosphere is that of 'Old' Vegas instead of the one found on the Strip. When it comes to food Limericks steakhouse is a great bargain. The food is great and the price is right for the quality. The staff in the casino and the restaurant were courteous and helpful.

The Irish theme was tastefully toned down, and gamblers still count on lots of good luck. – In Short For a short period of time, Fitzgerald's was the most shamelessly cheesy casino downtown. In 1996, the casino revamped the entrance and added a splashier neon rainbow, complete with Mr. O'Lucky, its leprechaun mascot. He later disappeared along with the fake tree and the piece of blarney stone that once took up precious gambling space on the first level. Now the Irish theme is more discrete, although McDonalds is still a prom... read more

Great entertainment is about all that was good when I stayed here. – To start they had me set up with three people in my room and it was only me! Then I am informed after I check in that each time I used the phone in the room I paid for, would cost me a addtional $1.00 per call or $1.00 each time I connected my pc to the internet (how cheap is this?!) Some of the elevators had air most did not, one day I had to wait for 30min on the 26th floor to get a elevator then it stopped on every floor going down (apparently this on th... read more

Ginny Dickson – I have to say that Fitzgerald's is by far one of the best hotel's in Vegas. They are all friendly and helpful that work there. My daughter and son-in-law had their first visit to Vegas with me and we stayed here. They want to go back ASAP and stay again. I agree!! Not as much hustle and bustle as on the strip. Very relaxing atmosphere. Also while there, we had a small fire in hotel and the employees were very professional regarding everyone's safety! It was thank God no danger, but if would have been I am sur... read more
