This is by far the most friendliest hotel on the strip. The waitresses on the floor are terrific. A few other hotels we been into A few too many waitresses on the floor were very snotty Even after tipping them.! We always tip. Had a minor problem with room ( heavy smoker next room over Very inconsiderate apparently they didn’t know how to read the no smoking sign in their room). We always stay at the D when in Vegas we love being right on Fremont Street and all the great staff there! Always a great time !!!
Stayed here Feb 2-6, check in was fast no issues , room was very clean , nice for price only wished it came with a refrigerator . Casino was always lively, Right on Fremont Street great location. D grill was good . Will stay here again.
We stayed here 3 nights (2/6/18-2/8/18) in 2 different rooms (one night was an unexpected last minute booking due to plane malfunctions and changing flights). The room we originally booked we loved. It was 1211, closer to Fremont street. Only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 star is the noise from Fremont street was insane & we weren't given an option of choosing a quieter room at check in. The D and Golden Gate is one of the most entertaining places I ever worked for. Great atmosphere, fun people, cool management and the best Cold Beer in town. "What happens in Vegas, "started here" Golden Gate Since 1906... J.R.
