I left my phone on a slot machine. Staff turned it in to security! He got tipped for his honesty! Great place and fun atmosphere!
Scary elevator!! Otherwise very great!! Love being on Fremont!!
My 1st impression when I walked in was it smelt like an ashtray!! The parking was under renovation so had to park across the street. Had our ticket validated so didn't have to pay to park. The casino area was small and I felt cramped. We stayed on the 28th floor and could hear ALL NOISE from the street. Music at night was ok but hearing sirens early AM was not. Room was small but held its purpose. Wasn't happy about paying a $100 deposit at check in and then having to wait til days for it to be returned. Not knocking the hot... read more
Clean rooms, nice staff. The ac wasn't working the first day, but they fixed it. Beds weren't made but I think it's because housekeeping skipped us since we were in the room later than usual.
Stayed 3 days, no real troubles. The parking garage was under renovation so we had to use the valet, but we didn't use the car much anyway so it was fine. A little bit noisy, even from the 20th floor, with the live bands on Freemont St, but at least they were playing music I liked and it didn't bother my sleeping because they were done well before I went to bed. The Italian/Steak restaraunt was pricey but awesome food and service. Not a fan of one of the bartenders who charged us full price for drinks simply because we order... read more
We recently took a youth football team to Las Vegas for a tournament and chose to stay at the D for our trip. No one in our group had previously stayed on Fremont street during trips to Las Vegas so we were a bit nervous. I have to say that the D and the staff were amazing. We had the best time and absolutely loved the location of the hotel as well as the amenities. The host Chris Waterman bent over backwards to help is and and our group to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and the hotel was very moder... read more
Bathrooms are decent, but as a resident "Detroiter" and amateur gambler, this place isn't too great. Get Lafayette in there, ya may be on to something...
