I usually LOVE the cup and I go every week! Today we went in, and there was a customer being served before us, after she had left, we asked for our cupcakes and one of the worker’s went back and went to go get in. In that time, she complained loudly to another worker about the lady who was in front of us and had us waiting while she insulted the other lady. Very disappointed

I love the cupcakes but I was very surprised that the worker handled my cupcakes without wearing any gloves. I thought proper food handling was taught in the Safe Food Handling course:(

Thank you for your comment. We understand your surprise. In our shops, we have found that we are actually better at keeping things safe and clean by washing and sanitizing our hands and not having gloves give a false sense of protection when they are not used with absolute diligence (inadvertently touching something non-food with a glove). Gloves can transfer unwanted “germs” as easily as hands, so that is our philosophy behind our actions. Absolutely wonderful cupcakes... the best in town! And on top of that, they have a tremendously wonderful staff!
I had worked for The Cup Edwardsville and then for awhile at The Cup Chesterfield. They are very sanitary and organized! I still buy their product and know it’s of great quality. The Italian Creme, Wipeout, Gold Rush and Maple Bacon are the best! ❤️The Cup!
My sister brought me the peanut butter cup cake and it was incredibly delicious! I’ve never had a cupcake as good as this!
