I went with the Cupcakerie for my wedding cupcakes. Their cupcakes are so fresh, full of flavor, and look beautiful as well. Janet and Anna truly made my rustic wedding visions come true. They were able to work with me and all of the antique and rustic items I had on the cake table. The cupcakes are still being talked about among our wedding goers and we can't wait to try our cake again on our first anniversary.
I get so excited when I see Cupcakerie cupcakes at events I attend. I can spot them from across the room. I don't know if I could even pick a favorite flavor. And what's better, is they look as good as they taste :) I've seen The Cupcakerie do something as large as a tower of hundreds of mini's at a wedding and as small as a half dozen for a small gift. Ordered a 6 inch vanilla cake with buttercream icing--the cake itself was a little dense, but the icing was perfect, creamy and rich. One problem, though--the cake was not affixed to the cardboard cake board, so it slid off the board in transit and the rosettes on the side of the cake got crushed, even though we were very careful about keeping it still in the car. We were at the Lakeview Resort for the wedding expo and we came across the Cupcakerie. We were asking about cake prices and trying to show the lady we were talking to the inspiration we had and all we got in return was rude answers. She had no patience and scoffed when I asked about different styles. My future daughter in law even stated she attends WVU and has frequented the store and the lady gave us a "whatever" look. We were in town from Parkersburg for the WV state swim meet. I stopped in today to get 6 cupcakes to celebrate with my husband and son after the meet. The cupcakes are just decadent! Thank you! Keep up the delicious work!
