the drinks are great (honeybee is my fav) but the amount of furniture and how crowded the shop feels, make it seem a lot less homey. i miss the quiet atmosphere that it used to be. less furniture means that ppl leave faster lol. but for real tho, i get they are trying to go for the whole mismatched decor theme, but if u are gonna do that then go all the way with it, full spunk. the way it looks atm is horrid and clashes w the hipster chic it had before. please take down the breaking bad fanart lol it doesnt go with anything.... read more
I give the “new” Creme a 10/10. The big royal chairs are surprisingly comfortable and much nicer in person. I was nervous at first but It’s been rearranged since their original pictures came out so the flow is much better. They have super cute dome chairs too. The iMac was a great addition with plenty of games to enjoy. Yes, the coffee is $1 more, but it’s still the best coffee in town and I’m sure the price was adjusted for a good reason. I love this place. Aside from the prime location downtown, the staff is always wonderfully friendly, welcoming with a smile, and their hot chocolate is the BOMB DIGGIGTY, yo. Live entertainment is always a plus and the environment is superb. The decor is as comfortable and inviting as it is eclectic and curious. A wonderful place to hang with friends for a cuppa any time.
I have been loving this place for years...everytime I walk in the door, I know they have my favorite tea and a nice cozy place to curl up and relax...and the deserts are delicous!!
Still the best coffee in Owensboro, and a great place to relax after a long days work!
