When we visit St Michaels, the Crab Claw is a must.
We've been coming here for years but yesterday was a horrible experience. First we were told the medium crabs (all that they had) were heavy. Normally we wouldn't bother with mediums but hey it is Fall, the best time of year for crabs. The crabs were far from heavy...we sent some back, only too have our waitress become less friendly that when we sat down. As always the crabs were fabulous the other food was as well. The service was outstanding. No one is harder to please than my father as he has been a waterman all his life and when he says the crabs and food are good they have to be good!
The best place to go for sweet hot Maryland Crabs and excellent seafood platters. Super friendly and attentive waitstaff and fantastic atmosphere! It is worth the 3.5 hour drive each way from NJ.

Sat outside next to a table of people who were apparently way more important than my husband, son and myself. I say that because our server moved them twice at their request but could not refill our drinks. The people sitting next to us had a big dog that barked and started to come towards my son as soon as my son stepped one foot on the ground. He was terrified as he is only 3!
