The Crab Claw Restaurant evolved from a clam shucking and crab business in the 1950s to a seafood eatery in June, 1965. Delectable fresh seafood has always been our hallmark and customers seek out our relaxed, causal setting within a stone's throw of the water. Known for our steamed Maryland blue crabs and other choice seafood, we also offer Delmarva fried chicken and beef among our entrees. Cold beer, cocktails and other beverages are available to enhance your meal.

We hadn't been there in a few years. Now we remember why. We got there Between 3:30-3:45 and no one wanted to seat us. We finally got a table (and there were several) but they had nothing but medium crabs. Other tables had large but our waitress thought they were pre-ordered. Some of the crabs were very small. We came for Father's Day and it was a major disappointment. The very expensive crab cake was very small, and the sides were mediocre at best. The shrimp salad sandwich was not what my hubby expected, and the side potion of cole slaw was so tiny as to be amusing. The waitress was not attentive, actred annoyed when he asked for another soda, and sat it down harder than necessary. The only thing good was the steamed shrimp. We stopped after classic boat show next door. Ok seating by the harbor, service was good. $10 for a crush? :( Not worth that much. $6-7 maybe.
I was super excited to find a restaurant with such great ratings on the Gluten Free App!! Unfortunately, our experience was mediocre at best. Our server seemed bothered to serve us. Believe me~ I understand people have bad days but this lady seemed pained to wait on us. We ordered oysters as an appetizer. Waited a good bit of time for them to come out~ no biggy. The view was fabulous! We ordered crab dip and wings for appetizers. The crab dip was cold and we waited for the wings, that came the same time as dinner. The crabcake wasn't good, the cole slaw wasn't good. The service was ok. Very, very disappointed.
