The service has been getting better......Too bad that Jennifer can't wait on all the tables. She was excellent when we were there last nite.

Overall I will never probably go back the food was good but the service was not very good we sat out in the deck view was great atmosphere was great but the service was not good and to top it off the valet guys missed place my keys and could not find them for about 20 mins I was not happy at all left my windows in my car all the way down so anyone could take what they wanted .. Was not happy with my experience there

This was a highly anticipated visit, allowing for all kinks to be worked out over the first year. We invited friends with tremendous dining experience in the Providence area we made reservations for 7:00 tonight. The table was not ready and had to wait 15 minutes! We were given a table in the bar area. I insisted on a table in the dining room. Jocelyn was excellent. The calamari was few with more peppers than calamari. Pleasantly our meals were very good. Up from Florida and we have eaten at The Cove three times...cannot beat the view. The lobster roll was amazing..full of fresh lobster with no mayo. We tried the Panko Cod Loin..huge piece and the fingerling potatoes were to die for..asparagus was cooked perfect. One time had the Caesar Salad and Barbeque Chicken pizza. All delicious. After being open for over a year, all the kinks should have been worked out by now. I've been 5 times and last night will be my last. I've been with just my husband and experience is better, but add a few more people to your party and it all goes to crap! Waitstaff is inept. There needs to be whole scale training for these people of serving the public. Long wait to order. Not enough menus. No refilling of water glasses.
