Set in an old lake lodge, the County Line on the Lake is right on Bull Creek just off Lake Austin, and has been well known for years as the place in Austin to take out-of-town guests. Cocktails on the large redwood deck over- looking the water are a must. We have live music every night on the patio so come down and enjoy live music and the BBQ on the lake!

Food was above average BARBQ. turtles & fish at the bank are insane
An all-time favorite on Bull Creek in Austin. Love the brisket, bread and sauces!
no point in writing an extensive review. if you even barely like barbecue, get there as soon as you can. and then - consult with your doctor/better half when you are allowed to get there again and take the first possible option.
Great BBQ it had a amazing server Jenny and the ambiance of a open range but on a river.

This was my families favourite spot for get togethers, but after our experience on Mother's Day, we will be going somewhere else. The restaurant had a sign out front that said, "come in, no waiting." We waited for 28 minutes, when we asked about our table, we were told by the Hostess, "your table is ready, but we have to wait until another hostess comes to seat you." Excellent BBQ , homemade bread, great service, plenty of room for big parties. Beautiful setting, you can feed the turtles and fish , they have a machine where U pay a quarter to get turtle and fish food out. Now they could improve on giving more food per quarter for sure.
Best County Line in Texas. Everything is great and run very well. Way above what we get in SATx.
Great. food, great beer, great ambiance, get the "all you can stand" Oh and come with an empty stomach. :)
