Set in an old lake lodge, the County Line on the Lake is right on Bull Creek just off Lake Austin, and has been well known for years as the place in Austin to take out-of-town guests. Cocktails on the large redwood deck over- looking the water are a must. We have live music every night on the patio so come down and enjoy live music and the BBQ on the lake!

My experience tonight was AGAIN.... terrible....again. I only came back because a very generous client gave me a gift card. Keep in mind that this is a Tuesday night, a slow night, hardly anyone in the restaurant.... The waiter basically ignored us. Every single request was ignored or forgotten. it was like pulling teeth to get anything . I attended a Wedding & Reception (Chris & Drea Friede) at The County Line on the Lake, on Saturday, 11-NOV-17. The event venue is really scenic, with a gazebo on the lawn, right at the edge of the lake. It also has indoor / outdoor (depending on weather) banquet & dance rooms. The quality & flavor of the BBQ Meats & Side Dishes is excellent. If I lived near The County Line on the Lake, I would certainly eat there regularly. I also recommend it as an event venue.
Good great, service good, but disappointed that we couldn’t watch the Longhorn game because they don’t have Longhorn Network!
Always an amazing experience! Shaun was a pleasure and never left us wanting more. Idgaf if they weigh their meat or not because the portions are always in point. Everything from the bread to the sides to the variety of delicious meats makes this an exceptional place to eat. Plus it’s a gorgeous location, really what’s not to love?
A beautiful, relaxing atmosphere, a scenery that is worthy of the experience. Feeding turtles, ducks, and fish is entertaining for you and the kiddos. The food taste great. Time and thought not to mention the true Texas love put into prepareing it and getting it to the table. May I suggest the homemade bread, and room for some delicious peach cobbler.

I love County Line on the Lake! It has the very Best BBQ. And I love the potato salad too. You can find me there often, and always sitting in “the Pit” with a perfect view of Bull Creek!
