RecommendedA beautiful fall day with an amazing view of Mirror Lake and fantastic lunch. I had the Cottage salad with maple balsamic dressing with grilled chicken. My husband had a Rueben sandwich made with this amazing corned beef that was almost like candy. Our waitress said it comes from a company in Montreal. My mother-in-law had a huge chicken salad sandwich and took half home for another meal. Food & service great. Fell in love with this place on my first trip to Lake Placid during the 1980 Olympics!

RecommendedWe are from the U.K. and travelling around the U.S for 3 weeks . We were recommended The cottage by someone and had a very nice meal there. I am a Vegan and they were able to cater for me and were very helpful . Would definitely go again
I feel The Cottage has gone way down in their quality. They used processed cheese for their sandwiches and a poor quality deli meat. Hotdogs for $15.50? By the way bring your own straws... for the price there are much better restaurants to visit in Lake Placid. I would suggest Lisa Gs.
