good enough food - very poor dining experience We chose this place because it had good food and a beautiful lake view. However we got seated at the table closest to the road where we could barely see the lake over the fence. We asked to move to an empty table closer or even a table inside but were told that once we were seated they could not change it. It was absurd and infuriating. There were empty tables inside! Ok we were there a couple of weeks ago as I don't want to get anyone in trouble but want to share my ridiculous experience. We gave our name and the hostess said about 40 minutes. I said I didn't care how long but I wanted an inside seat with a lake view (the outside seats were longer). She then said "All the seats had lake views because they tried not to use the second row of seats." I said really? Oh great because I am not starving and just want the view to relax. On Jul. 15, I inquired about the 1:30 pm boat ride out back behind the restaurant at 12:30. I was told I had to wait to see if they had enough guests to take the boat out. I politely asked the operator, a young guy, to please text me around 1:15 or 1:20 to let me know if he was taking the boat out and if I could get a seat. I very clearly asked that he please text me with yay or nay, so I could get on with my day. I told him I would wait around nearby. He agreed and took my number. He did not text me!!
