We always enjoy dining at the Cottage during our annual vacation in the Adirondacks and today was no exception. Amazing apricot chicken salad sandwich. My wife loved the roasted brussel sprout salad. We split the carrot cake for dessert. Everything including the service was 5 stars. Can't wait until next time.
Such a great location. Gardens are gorgeous. It was really busy so there was a little bit of a wait. The food was good. My husband had roast beef and I got the tuna poke.

Always enjoy our trips to the Cottage and yesterday was no exception. It was a lovely day and the table on the outdoor deck was perfect for watching the recreation on the lake. I had the smoked turkey on baguette special which was nice but a bit pricey at $16, my husband liked his open faced Montreal meat sandwich. We enjoyed one of the wine features which was the Goose Watch cab franc rose. Very surprised that this NYS wine was so tasty.
Great crowd. Fun drink of the day. Nice staff. Always friendly. Perfect scenery.

Been coming for last 8 years on our summer and fall vacations. A visit to Lake Placid wouldn't be the same without lunch at The Cottage! Try the roasted Brussels sprout apple pecan warm salad- amazing!!
