My roommate and I moved into the Core after graduating from Rice to start our first jobs. The apartments were slightly cheaper compared to many other places in the area but it has been a nightmare to deal with the property managers (Earon Hunt and Kenneth Luckett) at the Core. On several occasions we had WATER LEAKING through the living room ceiling into the HVAC closet (in an area that already had water damage painted over when we moved in. The parking garage is not safe, the gate is either always open because it’s often broken. My husband got his car tires stolen and that was absolutely unacceptable! The other night I got home at 9 pm and the gate was not opening, I had to park my car on the street. I do not recommend living here!
I have been a resident here since November of 2017. This is by far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Every issue we have had has been handled completely incompetently. They care more about throwing events and emailing about food trucks and free beer than actually making sure the residents have their units in order. Been at the Core for about 5 months and I'm loving it! As someone in their mid-20's, I think the location is perfect! So much is conveniently located nearby. The amenities here are awesome, the grills are hooked directly to a gas line so they're always functional, and to top it off they're actually clean every time I go down to cook! The outdoor TV by the grill is just a bonus :) Best apartment complex I've lived in by far!
I have loved at The Core for a few months now and have loved it! The managerial staff are very attentive and quick to resolve issues and the maintenance staff are skilled and very pleasant. The Core is overall a great place to live!
