My husband and I went there for our anniversary after we could not get into our old stand by place so I Google where to eat in SLC and found The Copper Onion. WOW we were so very pleased with the dirty rice, carbonara and the brisket, it was amazing. We just knew we had to bring our oldest son because he wants to be a chef. Yesterday for his 18th birthday we drove from Logan (2 hrs a way) for his brunch. We sat at the bar to watch the magic and they did not disappoint. Thanks for the great service and wonderful food.
I've been wanting to come here for ages and it didn't disappoint! Being from Melbourne, Australia and a vegetarian, I'm generally extremely disappointed in quality food options here (Park City especially). The pumpkin risotto and side dish of brussel sprouts were fantastic. Most excellent risotto I've had in years. This is not a good review, I've had their food several times, it's quite good. However... I just watched someone from copper onion management yell at a food truck parked outside the Broadway theater, presumably to cater to the Sundance filmgoers today. I had just ordered from the Chow truck and watched this really petty argument go down in which the copper onion manager informed the food truck owner that he had already called the police and the health department. Best food I've had at a restaurant in a long long time! Beef stroganoff was amazing! And thanks for the free birthday chocolate pudding! Everything was delicious. Be sure to go for dinner and ask for the complimentary bread. It's busy and can have a long wait so make a reservation - we did and got right in. Had great service as well.
Phenomenal brunch! Drinks were very delicious as well. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
They care about the food. Truly. Excellent presentation with heaps of pretentiousness and pricing vulgarity for those that think worth is measured by how many $13 dollar side salads one orders.
Ate there once and the food was great. Tried to call for reservations 3 times yesterday and never got through, so we decided to show up and take our chances. They were busy but we weren't in a hurry. However, we decided to leave because we were treated so rudely by the host and bar staff. NO ONE wants to be treated like that. . . and pay for it. Sorry guys, you have work to do.
Excellent! ! We will be back! Exceptional service and not your average cuisine!
