Loved my 3-night stay at The Commodore! The apartment-style setup was comfortable and perfect for my trip. Being right in Hollywood made everything super convenient, so many spots just quick walk away. The staff also serves coffee and pastries every morning! Great location and easy, enjoyable stay overall!
Very disappointed in how the James does business. Was trying to rent a place on Airbnb and we were discriminated against. Reservation request was canceled without reason and yet, had they said yes, their unit wouldn’t be vacant right now.
They will waste your time while apartment searching. LUCAS will promise one price and will state that they working people who may not have much rental history etc. Apparently not. Also, the $1600 barely has a kitchen and he shows it last to show how unsuitable it is to get you to apply for a bigger space. This tactic was used to take my application fee and deny me.
This was one of the worst Airbnb experiences I’ve had, especially for a long-term stay. I booked this listing for 30+ days while relocating for work. Within the first unit (Unit 201), we encountered a roach infestation. Multiple roaches were seen over consecutive days, including near our food, which forced us to throw away groceries due to contamination.
