French onion soup is amazing!! Best I've ever had! I wish they served it everyday !
The service was great and food delicious. The butternut squash soup and spinach salad was a great combination. Definitely a place we would recommend.
During my trip to NJ we had dinner at the River View. The crab cakes were fantastic. Can't wait to go back for more.
The wait to get our server was way too long. For a group of 3 people, it took an hour to get our entrees and there were not many other patrons on the patio or inside. The food was "eh" and my burger wasn't cooked to my specification (I asked for medium and I got a hockey puck). The server said he couldn't bring it back so I could get a replacement nor could I get a refund.....my only options were to have him toss it or eat it; I ate the dang hockey puck because I don't like wasting food nor money.
Great restaurant and beautiful views of the river. Looking forward to going back for more good times.
