My husband has been in Christ Hospital for a week, the nurses, PCAs and transport in 4 South are top notch! Thank you Barry, Jeremy, Taylor and June. You made my husband's stay comfortable and helped him not be anxious about all his tests....however, the Main hospital rooms are very run down and dirty and staff doctors are not the greatest, The coordination and communication stinks there compared to Bethesda North and Jewish.
Their hospital care may be acceptable, but billing services are a chronic problem that is more painful than what ever you went in for. I've been going to Christ Hospital for 5 years in Cincinnati OH the doctors care get is typically good. However, the worst problem I have is dealing with the Hospital Billing which is outsourced to a 3rd party location far away (call center). Given my higher medical costs, I am on a payment plan, and every month paying my bill is a nightmare!!!! They have sent my accounts to Controlled Credit... read more
My mother is a patient. Severe pain and vomiting, and you want to send her home. Some medications that she requires you do not have in hospital. My sister was given a prescription to take to an outside pharmacy and bring back to hospital. Unbelievable!!
My daughter who is 30 years old arrived at Christ Hospital with sepsis. She was in critical care her kidneys shut down tubes, the bacteria had built up around her heart valve and they didn't think they were able to remove it or they may not go away with the medicine it was in both of her lungs. Sub par care - in a recent post about mammograms by the Christ Hospital and how they save lives - I wrote this. What about your doctors that say a painful breast lump is nothing more than hormonal changes throughout the month (Dr Friedman) and your mammograms that show nothing in young women with dense breast. Both resulting in a metastatic breast cancer diagnosis because of being missed by your drs and your mammograms. You fail in this field!
