What I read on ABCNews is disgusting. What grants are you receiving for mis-diagnosing Justina Pelletier with a somatoform disorder? Justina deserves to be with her family and friends. You are truly disgusting. You can put a gag order on the parent's, but I'm glad this has gone public and huge because Boston Children's Hospital is a disgrace!
I had always thought of this hospital as one of the best but now not so sure. Since you have taken off two of my questions about the TV coverage it is evident that you do not wish to comment on the Pelletier case. I stated in one of my post that as the grandmother of three grands with Leigh's disease I would be frightened to take my grands to your hospital for treatment. I suggest that you contact the UMDf to have a Grand Rounds for your hospital. Your medical staff needs current information about mitochondrial disease !
You guys don't deserve to still have your doors open. You are a pitiful excuse for a hospital. Release Justina. Anyone who has a child here should immediately transfer to another facility...
"First, do no harm." Shame on CHB and Mass. DCF. Has it even occurred to you at this point to ask yourselves, "What if we're wrong?" I hope your children will never be treated the way you have treated Justina. Return her to the care of her Tuft's physicians now.

Justina Pelletier looks so sick compared to the pictures of her before she got to your hospital. The doctor who decided her illness is all in her head clearly needs to have HIS head examined. This child looks so much older now than she did, and looks like she is miserable.She's even in a wheel chair now for heaven's sake! No ice skating for her anymore. PLEASE let her return to her parents who have raised her and loved her and cared for her all these years. Keeping her is a crime!
Your actions regarding the Pelletier family and Justina are nothing short of criminal. Just because you have a lot of power does not mean you should abuse it, because a physician has a disagreement about an already made diagnosis of mitochondrial disease. It is very apparent that much is being covered up and this family is being made to suffer the horrendous consequences of your poor judgement.
