I can't believe what your hospital is doing to Justina Pelletier. Let her go! You basically kidnapped her from her family! How could anyone trust the care of this hospital! I would never step foot in your hospital!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Doctors and Nurses at Boston Children's. They ALL ANGELS!!!! My nephew was two and was taken to children's with a bone cyst on his spine. The doctors had to operate and shut off the blood supply before they could remove the cyst. That was in October of 2001. He is a junior in high school and play soccer and basket ball. Then in September 2013 I found myself again at Children's with my youngest Grandchild he was born with polycystic kidney disease. There were times when we didn't... read more
We are here right now as I write and every nurse, doctor, anethesiologist everyone has been absolutely wonderful!! What is a very stressful time for patients and parents is made easier with this staff.
I would never go to this hospital after learning about Justina Pelletier and her family. What I find the most troubling is that there is absolutely nothing to support why Justina should still be in the Boston Children's Hospital Care...I do not blame the Pelletier family for using words like 'kidnapping' and 'torture' when describing the treatment of their daughter....absolutely sickening in my opinion. SICK SICK SICK!!! I don't even want to give the 1 star rating...
Shame on your facility! You are guilty of kidnapping a child. Both you and Boston DCF deserve to have criminal charges brought against you. And I certainly hope that girl's family sues the pants off of you! It is absolutely disgusting what you are doing to this girl and her family.

This hospital alleges that Mitochondrial disease is complex to diagnose and needs various tests that must be performed to confirm that diagnosis. Wouldn't it seem like a wise course of action to use those very tests, to RULE OUT a diagnosis of mitochondrial disease - in particular when it was a working diagnosis at another well respected hospital... or prior to going down a long-term, potentially harmful treatment course for another disease... or involving DCF and seizing parental rights? What you have done to the Pelletier family is nothing short of monstrous! It is my prayer that the doctor who recommended she be removed from her family, and had her diagnosis changed, lose his license to practice medicine permanently!
