There is no one who can adequately assess a medical abuse case of a rare disease in less than 24 hours!! NO ONE!! Even *if* Justina had SD and not a rare genetic disorder called Mitochondrial Disease, this is NOT an example of the APA's best practices approach to SD!! What is the most deplorable aspect of this entire debacle is the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual suffering of an innocent 15 year old child! #FreeJustina
It reminds me of the mental hospitals in Soviet Russia where those who disagreed were given a psychiatric diagnosis and locked up. This is what they have done to Justina Pellitier and others.
"Justina Pelletier" - whoever was involved in this at any level should be ashamed. I think it was Milgram who proved in his study that people will just do whatever they're told if someone in a white lab coat tells them to..... even when that leads to the pain or death of another person!! I wonder who these people are in this case. And I wonder if they explained "why" to this girl and her family.
