My experiences with BCH have always been good. My daughter has a disabling condition that was first preliminarily diagnosed by a doctor there, and the diagnosis was since confirmed by outside sources. BUT Over the past year I've become increasingly disturbed by the story of Justina Pelletier, who's parents brought her to BCH to see a doctor there that had transferred from Tufts. Do your homework people. Justina Pelletier is in a horrible place in her life because of the policies of this hospital. They are responsible. Do the right thing administrators and see that this girl is given back to her parents.
If you really care about Justina Pelletier's mental, physical and emotional well-being, then please give her back to her family. I cannot imagine what this poor girl has suffered at the hands of those who are claiming to help her, but instead are destroying her and her family. I cannot believe this is happening in America! After what I have read and heard about this case, I could NEVER recommend Boston Children's Hospital to anyone!

Release Justina Pelletier to her parents .. if I could rate your hospital with less than a star I would.
I grew up thinking that BCH was an outstanding hospital but since finding out about the Justina Pelletier case I started reading articles about how BCH helped DCF get their test subject for research. I would not take a child of mine to BCH. I pray that BCH and DCF admit to kidnapping Justina and let her go home where she belongs. Sad case but not to late to do the right thing. FREE JUSTINA!!
I always thought BCH was a great place to bring your children. In the light of the Pelletier case I have many doubts. How can you keep a child for a year after a diagnosis of Mitrochodrial disease, put her in a psych ward and a year later she has deteriorated. If they have a valid reason like Munchausen Syndrome, considering the parents were barred from seeing their child, they should come forward and explain the situation. I will always question ANY Childrens Hospital at this point. I use to be so proud to have them as an option for care. Now, I think I would pass them up... so easily. After watching Dr. Oz, attorneys, media, childrens rights advocates, and CPS in California... NO ONE is in agreement with Childrens or DCFS... Seem VERY corrupt.
