How do you justify withholding medicine from a child with mitochondrial disease? When a hospital promotes the idea that children are faking life-threatening diseases, it doesn't inspire confidence in its staff.
My family will forever hold your institution with the highest esteem and gratitude for saving the life of my precious son through open heart surgery at 2 months old. Your doctors, nurses, and all staff are true angels. We love CHB!
I can not imagine bringing my children ANYWHERE else - The care they have received over the past 4 1/2 years has been OFF THE CHARTS! I have at least another 3 years to go with them and can't thank them enough for all they do!

How is Justina Pelletier doing now that she has been in your care for over a year? What I have seen of your hospital is something out of a horror story. How does a psych illness explain how she looks now compared to how she looked prior to her hospitalization? You've limited her contact with her parents and have been supposedly treating her for a mental illness but she is wheelchair bound now? Are your psychologists this pathetic that they can't treat a somotaform disorder?
