I am stunned at the behavior of BCH concerning the Justina Pelletier case. BCH made a diagnosis of exclusion suddenly and without the proper personnel involved. Typically in cases involving radical differences of opinion - a third hospital is consulted. Have you heard of MGH, Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic? Instead you tortured a child. I would be afraid to take a child in my family to your hospital and I will never donate a cent to you. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in BCH.
Justina is going to be free! Thank God she will not be kept from her family any longer! No thanks to a bunch of egotistical doctors at this hospital!

This hospital desperately needs to learn about mitochondrial disorders, and disorders of mitochondrial metabolism! There is no reason, with mitochondrial experts, being that close, that there should be this type of malpractice going on at this hospital. It is a common theme for this hospital to not accept this diagnosis, or mitochondrial problems. Please end this ignorance, and get with modern medicine! Thank you!
My son has been at Boston Children's since Tuesday. He has a rare disease called Moyamoya and my family is SO grateful for the amazing Dr. Smith and his team for fixing him! He finally came out of ICU today and hoping to take him home by Monday. The nurses are all so great!!!
