I was placed there, as a Ward of the State. My Birth Mother was a waste of space -and only kept me, for the welfare checks, She was verbally and physically abusive, to me for years. Living with the other girls, opened my eyes, to see, i was not alone in this sad experience .. , and helped me break the "guilt trip" she use to put on me. i learned to depend on myself .. which helped me .. achieving a Master's Degree , and International travels ..I hope to give back something to the Center,, to share with other students .. my k... read more
I went their when I was 12 it was a pretty good Place to get treatment I meet alot of nice people Their and I would recommend kids with Mental health or any other types of diagnoses to Go their and get treatment
I went here and I had a hot clinician. And she knows who I'm talking about
I want to the Children's Center in the 90s I was very young like 10 or 11 years old. I'm 31 today and I met a lot of very good staff and made a lot of very good friends that I will never forget ever. I have lost touch with all of the friends I made there over the years but it's OK it's understandable. There's not a day that goes by in my adulthood.
