Went today for the first time with my girlfriend, and I will mention that we are both Greek, as this is important information. We both ordered a milkshake, wings, sweet potato fries, and gyro. The food arrived very quickly and yare yare, fellas, it was fire. The gyro was so very close to how American gyro tastes and the tzatziki was very very convincing. It gets the Greek seal of approval. I'm not even remotely close to being vegan, but I went there to check it out with a couple of friends. The chicken fried steak was delicious, considering. The entire meal was awesome. The service was great, the atmosphere was cozy. I'd definitely eat there again!
Great food, great staff, great atmosphere! I personally recommend the Monty Christo & the Cuban Sandwich as especially rich and fun to eat. Buddha's Karma Burger & Breakfast Combo are my go-to menu choices. The specials have been pretty fun & keep the menu lively for returning customers. I have found a new love for salads, being able to have a variety of deliciously creamy choices from which to choose :D
I've been to many vegan/vegetarian restaurants in many different cities (DC, Philly, etc), but this was by far the best vegan/vegetarian food I have ever eaten in a restaurant setting. Would consider moving to Chicago simply for the food at this place.
First time here and everything from the food to the service was amazing!!!!!
