From the UK, where we have never declawed cats and find even the idea upsetting and incomprehensible, that you for not performing this horrific mutilation. Here in the UK, cats' claws are such a non-issue we don't even use nail caps.

I went to The Cat Doctor because Mr. Butters was not grooming himself. Dr. Kim immediately noticed an abnormality in his eye. Butters had cancer. This was in October. X-rays were taken and nothing could be done. Through this process the Doctor was incredibly honest, kind, and patient. She monitored him for me because I did not want him to suffer.
