What a great little place!! Brought the boat over from the west coast and spent 3 great day here! Would highly recommend!!
We checked in on a Tuesday evening and were given a good rate. We were told by the evening manager what the rate would be. The next morning we went to the office to pay and check out, and the rate they charged us was $75 more than the one originally stated. After a long discussion, the day manager flatly refused to call the night clerk to verify. Do NOT stay here.

Very affordable and the people were very friendly. The boat we rented was very clean and nice.
The staff makes this place extremely special. We had a 3 night stay in cottage 305. Loved sitting on the screened porch watching the river and boats go by. We hung out on the dock that was right in front of our cottage and (tried to) fish. We had all the essentials needed and when the AC froze up, Rick the maint. Guy was there in minutes to resolve the issue. I loved we were able to rent a boat right on property. All and all a great stay. Will do this again next year. We had a Great Time today, rented a pontoon and did some fishin...the people of Castaways were very nice...my whole crew got caught in a terrible rain storm, but it was still a great time.
My husband and I booked a cabin for a week in May. Three days in my husband and I booked a fishing guide for 6 hrs. We love Captain Steve but about 3 hours my husband got sick. He has heart problems and I am sure the heat didn't help. We are from Missouri a long way from home. We decided we needed to leave early so my husband could go to his doctor.
