There is little doubt that The Carlyle, with its magnificent view of Central Park and its close proximity to some of the best shops and museums in New York, is one of the preeminent "grand hotels" in New York. The Upper East Side landmark was built in 1930, when spacious accommodations, fine linens and furniture, and a large and attentive staff were the very least that might be expected for a true luxury hotel; and that tradition continues even today.

Ouvir ao cineasta e músico Woody Allen em um ambiente pequeno , aconchegante e com poucas pessoas foi algo memorável. Daqueles momentos para se guardar na memória. A new Orleans jazz band também foi sensacional.
A very old world New York bar with an amazing atmosphere and vibe, with someone playing on the grand piano
Mi sueño cumplido!! Excelente lugar, atención y ver a Woody... ¿Qué más?
My husband and I went with 2 friends to see Woody Allen at the Cafe Carlyle on Monday the 1st of May for his birthday. It was the worst show i have every seen. The tickets cost $165 each plus food and drink. He was incapable of playing properly sitting with his eyes shut not saying a word to the audience - it was embarrassing
