We went to celebrate our anniversary recently and the food was horrible, the beer was warm and the service was mediocre at best. Tried to order another beer but the keg was empty, I guess that explains why the first one was warm and shy on the pour. My son ordered an enchilada and she brought a quesadilla. As we wandered about Mill valley looking for good venue for lunch we found the Cantina , a quint Mexican restaurant that fit the need perfectly. The menu was extensive, the service was informative and friendly and the food was perfect and filled the need.
Great margaritas, salsa, chips, and guacamole. The food, however, was mediocre. We ordered chiles rellenos and enchiladas suizas. They arrived within minutes and served with beans, rice, and a vinegary iceberg lettuce pile. I suppose if you've never been to Mexico, this food might satisfy. But it's far from authentic Mexican. A huge portion of tasteless glop.
Delicious food and amazing service! I went in for lunch yesterday by myself and was given a nice table near a window so that I could read my textbook and study while waiting for my food. My food came out super fast and tasted great! I had a shedded beef taco and a chicken enchilada...yum 😋 Can't wait to eat there again 👍🏻
Always fun, great service and food, and very creative in the drinks dept. :-)
