DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! CrossCountry Mortgage completely ruined my first home buying experience. On the day of our closing (July 10th), which was after our original deadline, CrossCountry had not given any of the closing documents to the title company. An absolutely HORRIBLE company with terrible customer service - especially Glenn Nimmo. They will take weeks to process your stuff and then not communicate with you on the phone - only email. No one at that company has a clue or even cares. PLEASE stay away from this company and go through a different lender for your home buying needs! It's not worth the mental struggle and stress!
We were supposed to close on June 23 and it is now July 9 and STILL don’t have a closing date. Currently HOMELESS with a family of 5. I am so disappointed, they don’t even communicate well.
My husband and I worked with Tammy Wasserman at CrossCountry for our mortgage and she took great care of us. She was prompt in answering all our questions and made sure we understood all the steps. Their site for sending documents was easy. The overall process was quick and painless! If we need to buy another house in the future we will absolutely use her and CrossCountry Mortgage.
Julie and her team are easily the most efficient, professional, and creative lending team I’ve worked with. I’ve purchased and refinanced multiple properties and my experience with her team was second to none. I would (and do) recommend her and her team to anyone looking for a mortgage. She offers competitive rates, deals, and unbeatable closing time frames. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. We have been working with Glenn and the communication has been strictly email. I was told our file wasn’t even opened until 2 weeks before closing, along with the contingencies not being given until just a few days notice. It has been a headache to even get anything done and feet have been drug. I have a concern with Cross Country Mortgage and one of their preferred mortgage lenders, First Bank, a bank with extremely poor service. FirstBank entered my homeowner's insurance renewal effective date wrong in their system and then forced placed coverage for 18 days. Rather than contact me or my insurance agent, I received a form letter stating that they sent my account to a debt collector for a charge of $58.00.
