The pan fried brussel sprouts were very good, balance of sweet char and pork belly bacon. Two dinner fish entre’s were sub par. The perch special was bland and over cooked and dry. The salmon was over cooked dry and bland. Our server had the night of the living dead type persona! The highlight was the negroni, excellent. The bar is very traditional and has character. For dinner, find another venue!
We came here after always having wanted to try it. It was the night after a storm and I think a power outage somehow compromised their grill. The hostess had told us it was a limited menu. We were disappointed burgers were not available since they’re known for burgers. The drinks were very good. I was not overly impressed with the food. It was good, but not great. Perhaps would be worth another try.
Our favorite local restaurant! Lived here for three years and finally tried it this year and we couldn't believe what we had been missing. Been coming back ever since. Every time we have guests we bring them here because it's consistently good! Also I think the prices are really fair for the size of plate and quality. We love it!
This place is great. Lots of options. Ambiance is awesome, excellent service. I usually steer away from pork chops in restaurants because I can make at home but the entree here is amazing. Brined and char grilled. My steak knife went right thru with no effort. Not pictured but awesome was the french onion soup. Going back for sure.
I am so greatful that we chose Brook Tavern for the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. Carol Ann was WONDERFUL & helped me & gave great suggestions. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, the service was GREAT. Even though I live over 3 hours away, I would love to come back just to have dinner there.
