I had my front brakes replaced , and rear ones adjusted yesterday; the price was very fair, the waiting time minimal, and the mechanic fully explained what needed to be done and why it was necessary. I've been to numerous businesses where the owners flashed "game show host" smiles and tried to sell me something I didn't need. Not here. These people are honest, friendly, and fair-I was surprised to learn that are able to do regularly scheduled work maintenance for most cars-certainly a lot cheaper than the dealerships. I cannot say enough about The Brakestop. Two friends recommended this shop to me for service on my Suburban. Every time I have been there I have been treated like family. They always call you by name and go out of their way to solve your problem without charging you unnecessarily. Ian (the owner) always shows you the part that is being replaced (due to damage) and explains why he is replacing it. This gives me piece of mind that the work needed to be done.
