Just went out to go visit some close friends and was told this was a great place. I decided to try it out. What an amazing place and the food was to die for.
I just returned from visiting some friends in the area and they wanted to try this place out before I returned home. I must admit, I had no idea what to order and was recommended the grilled shark. It certainly didn't disappoint, and I finished with a key lime parfait, which was delicious. We had a few cocktails (amazing selection, by the way), and had a great time. I've also heard the miso mussels were pretty good, so maybe next time I'll check those out. I will definitely be back when I get a chance.
This is the place to be!!! Chef James Avery has outdone himself with chowder house signature dishes... & the staff, second to none!!! Come on in & enjoy!!!
Excellent seafood and great atmosphere! The Bonney Read has become a staple of my Jersey shore visits!
